Here are the articles that were published in October 2006.

The Prestige

Last weekend we went to Chicago so that my wife could run the Chicago Marathon. When I booked the plane tickets online I neglected to see the little "1" under the "Number of Stops" column (or maybe I assumed that the plane was stopping once, in Chicago). So we had in fact two flights on the way there, one from Denver to Dallas and one from Dallas to Chicago and on the way back there was just the one flight. Now that I've republished The Tomes of Delphi: Algorithms and Data Structures through Lulu, it's time to reflect a little on what the entire process was like. That way, if you are also thinking of writing a book and self-publishing it through a print-on-demand (POD) service, you'll have a better idea of what you can expect. Read more...

More On the ToDADS Reprint

Wow. I'm humbled. The messages of approval for the reprint have been flooding in, together with some inevitable questions, questions I should have anticipated and to which I should have prepared answers. Anyway, rather than reply to each correspondent individually, I think it'll be better if I reply to all the questions here. That way, everyone can get the same information at the same time.
